These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Roaming Scores website and the rental services provided by Roaming Scores LLC ("Roaming Scores," "we," "us," or "our"), a mobile golf simulator company based in Lake County, Ohio. By submitting a booking inquiry, making a payment, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree, do not use our website or book our services.
1. Services
Roaming Scores provides mobile golf simulator rentals for private events, corporate functions, charity fundraisers, wedding receptions, bar and venue activations, and similar gatherings throughout Northeast Ohio. Our services include delivery, setup, and breakdown of simulator equipment at your chosen location.
All bookings are subject to availability. Submitting a booking inquiry does not guarantee a reservation. A booking is confirmed only when you receive a written confirmation from Roaming Scores and payment has been received or arranged.
2. Age Requirement
You must be 18 years of age or older to book Roaming Scores services or enter into these Terms. By submitting a booking inquiry or making a payment, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. Roaming Scores reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who cannot verify their age upon request.
3. Booking and Payment
Rates
- Standard Rental — $800 / 8-hour day (customer provides clubs)
- Premium Rental (Staffed, Clubs Included) — $1,200 / 8-hour day
- Corporate Experience — $1,500–$2,500 (custom scope, quoted individually)

Payment Methods
We accept online payments via Stripe (credit/debit card) and cash at the time of service. A deposit or full payment may be required to hold your date. Payment terms will be confirmed in writing at the time of booking.
Invoicing
Invoices are issued through Square. All amounts are in U.S. dollars. Payments not received by the agreed due date may result in cancellation of your booking.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellation by Client
- More than 14 days before the event: Full refund of any deposit paid
- 7–14 days before the event: 50% of the total booking amount is non-refundable
- Less than 7 days before the event: No refund; full payment is due
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to hello@roamingscores.com. Cancellations are effective on the date received.
Rescheduling
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests made more than 7 days before your event, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests made within 7 days of the event may be treated as cancellations.
Cancellation by Roaming Scores
In the rare event that we must cancel due to equipment failure, illness, or circumstances beyond our control, we will notify you as soon as possible and issue a full refund of any payments made. Roaming Scores is not liable for any additional costs or damages resulting from such a cancellation.
5. Venue and Space Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring the event location meets the minimum space requirements for the simulator setup. Our inflatable enclosure requires:
- Minimum 10 ft wide × 12 ft tall × 15 ft deep of clear, level space
- Access to a standard 120V electrical outlet within reach (or a generator, which we can provide)
- A flat, stable surface — grass, concrete, hardwood, or turf are all acceptable
- Clear vehicle access for delivery and setup (driveway, parking lot, loading area)
If the venue does not meet these requirements at the time of setup and we are unable to proceed, the booking will be treated as a late cancellation and no refund will be issued. Please confirm your space dimensions before booking.
6. Equipment Use and Guest Conduct
The client is responsible for the conduct of all guests interacting with Roaming Scores equipment during the rental period. You agree to:
- Ensure guests use the equipment safely and as directed by Roaming Scores staff
- Prevent unauthorized modifications, misuse, or rough handling of any equipment
- Keep food and beverages away from the launch monitor, projector, and screen
- Ensure only sober guests operate the equipment — alcohol impairment increases the risk of injury and equipment damage
Roaming Scores reserves the right to pause or end a rental early if equipment is being misused or guests pose a safety risk, with no refund issued for the unused portion of the rental.
7. Assumption of Risk and Participant Release
Use of the Roaming Scores golf simulator involves physical activity, including swinging golf clubs. By booking our services or permitting guests to use the simulator at your event, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk
Participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with using the golf simulator, including but not limited to: physical injury from swinging a golf club, muscle strain, slipping or falling, collision with other guests, and equipment-related incidents. These risks exist even when equipment is used as directed and Roaming Scores staff is present.
Release of Liability — Participants
By using the Roaming Scores simulator, each participant (and the client on their behalf) releases, waives, and forever discharges Roaming Scores LLC, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising from personal injury, illness, death, or property damage sustained while using the simulator, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
Release of Liability — Venue and Third-Party Property
The client is solely responsible for any damage caused by event participants to the venue, surrounding property, or third-party belongings during the rental period. Roaming Scores LLC assumes no liability for damage to floors, walls, furniture, fixtures, or any other property at the event location resulting from simulator use or guest conduct. The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Roaming Scores LLC from any claims, costs, or damages arising from such incidents.
Alcohol and Impairment
Roaming Scores strongly discourages intoxicated individuals from using the simulator. The client accepts full responsibility for ensuring impaired guests do not operate the equipment. Roaming Scores LLC is not liable for any injury or damage resulting from a guest using the simulator while under the influence of alcohol or any other substance.
8. Weather and Outdoor Events
Our inflatable enclosure provides protection from light elements, but outdoor events are subject to weather conditions. We reserve the right to delay setup, modify placement, or cancel the rental without penalty to either party in the event of severe weather including but not limited to high winds (sustained above 25 mph), lightning, heavy rain, or temperatures below 32°F or above 100°F.
For outdoor events, we strongly recommend having an indoor backup location identified. Rescheduling due to weather is handled at our discretion and subject to availability.
9. Photography and Media
Roaming Scores may photograph or record video at events for use in marketing materials, social media, and promotional content. By booking our services, you grant Roaming Scores permission to use event photos and videos that include your event setup, location, and guests (in non-identifiable contexts) for these purposes.
If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify us in writing before your event date and we will honor that request.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the Roaming Scores website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and the Roaming Scores name and mascot — is the property of Roaming Scores LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our website without prior written permission.
11. SMS / Text Messaging Terms
These terms apply specifically to text messages (SMS/MMS) sent by Roaming Scores LLC to phone numbers that have provided consent through our booking form or other authorized opt-in methods.
Business Identity and Message Types
Roaming Scores LLC operates a mobile golf simulator rental service in Lake County, Ohio. By providing your phone number and opting in, you may receive booking confirmations, event reminders, post-event review requests, and (if separately consented to) marketing messages about special offers and service updates.
Opt-Out and Support
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to (440) 901-5991. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword "HELP" for more assistance, or you can get help directly at hello@roamingscores.com.
Carrier Liability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Message Frequency and Rates
As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive approximately 2–6 messages per month related to your booking, plus occasional marketing messages if separately consented to. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roaming Scores LLC's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific booking giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages of any kind.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or litigated exclusively in the courts of Lake County, Ohio.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
